Over 100 years ago, Daniel Swarovski and his three sons began
the production of crystals in the Alps of Austria. Using a Swarovski-patented cutting machine, brilliant crystal cuts
were created. After success during the 1930s in Paris and other markets, Swarovski created the "Aurora Borealis" - a
new, luminous crystal revealing every color of the rainbow.
